Tamara L. Loatman-Clark received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law.  While attending law school, Mrs. Clark was a merit scholar and member of the Howard Law Journal, serving as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor prior to graduating.  She currently practices in New York and New Jersey and her professional affiliations include the New York State Bar Association, the National Association of Professional Women and the New York County Lawyers' Association.
 
Subsequent to graduating from law school, Mrs. Loatman-Clark was recruited to a top New York City law firm where she performed estate planning work for high net worth clients.  After leaving the firm, she expanded her practice to include residential real estate transactions.  Mrs. Clark gained experience closing loans while working for a residential real estate law firm in New Jersey and later as a mortgage closer for a mortgage company in New York.  She has also represented landlords and tenants in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.  

 

Mrs. Clark's real estate experience most recently includes work as the Director of Compliance for a New Jersey developer.  In that capacity, Mrs. Clark ensured the developer's compliance with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit  program.  In addition, Mrs. Clark worked as a development associate, and as an agent for the developer; selling market rate houses to buyers and facilitating each transaction through to settlement. 

  

Mrs. Clark is a certified tax credit compliance specialist, who frequently appears as a dais guest at homebuyer seminars and panels.  She has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in residential and commercial closings.
